This publication design project is a zine inspired by one of my favorite childhood films — Like Stars on Earth (Taare Zameen Par). The movie tells the story of a young boy with dyslexia and his journey toward self-acceptance and growth. Its powerful message left a lasting impact on me and motivated me to use design as a tool to raise awareness and foster empathy for those with learning differences. The zine invites readers to step into the world of someone with dyslexia, offering a glimpse into their everyday challenges. It features thought-provoking dialogues from the film, interwoven with hand-drawn doodles inspired by the movie’s unique visual language. The result is an engaging, emotionally resonant piece that combines storytelling and illustration to promote understanding and sensitivity.
